An Open Letter to the U.S. Department of Transportation

Dear Secretary Buttigieg and Retired General Lyons,

I am writing on behalf of Flock Freight, the only FreightTech company enabling a smarter, more sustainable U.S. supply chain by pooling freight at scale. Right now, one out of every two heavy-duty trucks is running half empty. Equating to roughly 25% of wasted space, that’s a market failure that’s terrible for businesses, carriers and the planet. This inefficiency results in higher prices for U.S. consumers, excessive wear and tear on our infrastructure, and unnecessary tailpipe carbon emissions.

As a leader tasked with protecting American families from shipping delays and costly supply chain disruptions, you may be interested in learning about Flock Freight’s unique shared truckload alternative to traditional shipping modes that’s tackling the industry’s inefficiencies head-on – FlockDirect.
